When you have big plans for your next RAM truck for work or play, it is great to know that you have a variety of options to consider. The 2024 RAM 1500 and the 2024 RAM 2500 are both strong pickup trucks that are offered in numerous trim levels, and they are distinctive in bold ways. Our Myers Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM associates can support you as you explore these trucks' differences and make a selection that is right for your needs.

Performance

There are three powertrains offered across the 2024 RAM 1500's seven trim levels. The lower RAM 1500 trims draw 305 horsepower from a 3.6-liter V6 engine with eTorque. The 5.7-liter V8 engine is offered with and without eTorque, and it gives you 395 horsepower. The TRX trim level is loaded with a supercharged V8 that produces 702 horsepower. The 2024 RAM 2500, on the other hand, has a standard V8, 6.4-liter gas engine for all eight trims, and this unit generates 410 horsepower. An alternative is the optional turbo 6.7-liter V8 diesel powertrain, which offers 370 horsepower.

Appearance

The 2024 RAM 1500 and RAM 2500 are available with a choice of cabin and bed configurations. They both come with a muscular hood and a tall nose. The 2024 RAM 1500 adds sculpted side panels and a solid front-end design. The wide grille rounds outward on the sides to connect with the rectangular headlamps. These headlight units are enhanced with LED bars framing the top and bottom. The 2024 RAM 2500, on the other hand, has smoother sides with pinstripe definition over the bottom of the door panels. The grille and headlights are comparably shaped to those on the RAM 1500, but they are larger and more commanding.

Features

The RAM 1500 and 2500 trucks are both offered with basic trim levels up to premium trim levels. Both are available with gear like adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, a head-up display, leather seats, a Harman Kardon premium sound system, automated parking, a wireless charging pad, a 12-inch central touch display screen, a blind-spot warning, a navigation system, reclining and heated seats in both rows and numerous additional features.
